Take a look at what I received.

From the ‘Polli 1872’ range I received marinated artichokes with fine herbs in oil, roasted peppers in oil, capers in wine vinegar, green olives and a black olive spread. Check out the range HERE

There is also a really great selection of canned goods (most also happen to be cheaper than all our major local retailers). Think chickpeas, butter beans, lentils and a really impressive range of Italian tomato products. Check out the ranges HERE and HERE

This Black Truffle Sauce (R85.99 for a 90 gram – BUY) can be added to cooked pasta with a grating of parmigiana to make the most easy and delish meal for two.

I’ll be enjoying the Colle Del Tartufo Black Truffle Sauce with this Alce Nero Organic Penne pasta (R34.50 for 500g – BUY)

Italian Deli Online stock Giuseppe Giusti – the world’s most premier range of Balsamic Vinegars.

Started in 1605, Giuseppe Giusti are the oldest producer of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (priced from R209BUY)

These San Carlo Mint & Chili Pepper Potato Chips (R45.99BUY) have my mouth watering.

I mean, who doesn’t LOVE a breadstick. San Carlo Grissini Classic Breadsticks (R41.99BUY)

Risotto is a panty staple and I can’t wait to try this Porcini Mushroom one that only takes 12 minutes to make (R56.99BUY)

I do love wine and while I usually opt for South African varieties, I was excited to try the Pasqua Pinot Grigio Romeo & Juliette (R144.00BUY). Pinot Grigio is a richly textured white wine with moderate acidity.

I also received Prosciutto Crudo (R85.99 for 70grams – BUY), sliced Chorizo (R73,99 for 70 grams – BUY)

Frozen ready-made pizza is a freezer staple. I got the Neapolitan Style Margherita (R60BUY)

I love making my own pizza but find it’s a bit of a mission to make the base myself. I’ve tried many, many pizza bases, and this frozen artisanal wood fired pizza bases to be among the best (R94.99 for 5 x bases – BUY)

I topped this pizza base with tomatoe paste, mozzarella, chorizo, marinated artichokes & peppers and garnished it with freshly torn basil. It was DELICIOUS!

I’ll be sharing some easy recipes using all these outstanding ingredients in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.
