Illicit Flower by Jimmy Choo is the follow-up to the hugely successful Jimmy Choo Illicit. It is equally as captivating, but has a younger, somewhat fresher vibe.

Jimmy Choo Illicit Flower EDT adds a new, flirtatious twist to the original rose accord with notes of juicy apricot and zesty mandarin crushed over the pretty floral heart notes of jasmine to create a fresh, sparkling scent.

On first spritz, you really do get the fruity notes with a touch of floral. I like that the opening isn’t too overwhelming – I’d describe it as soft, fresh and elegant.

I found that this scent developed quickly and within about 10 minutes, the feminine and rather sensual heart notes of rose and grapefruit burst forth.

The dry down of intense sandalwood and soft, seductive musk eliminates any acidity from the sweet citrusy accents. This floral / woody / musky scent takes on a beautiful seductive character after a few hours. I really believe it’s a fragrance that will appeal to a very wide audience. I also adore the chunky art deco style glass flacon that the rose coloured juice is encased in.
