The Body Shop has launched some amazing and innovative products of late. The six below are my favourites – give them a try and you’ll see why.

BS2

Satsuma Body Sorbet R110 – This innovative body lotion has received rave reviews on every beauty blog I read over the past few weeks – And with good reason too. The fresh sorbet texture is really unique and keeps skin hydrated without even a hint of stickiness. It contains a base of organic soya, well know for its moisturising properties. Also, because Soya is rich in fatty acids, it’s excellent for caring for all skin types – even very dry and mature. You’ll find this beauty in four variations: Satsuma, mango, strawberry & morning.

Lip & Cheek Stain R120 – If you’re into very natural looking make-up, this is the product for you! While it has a rather sparkly look in the tube, it’s not visible once applied. I love that it leaves the lips with that ‘just sucked a raspberry popsicle’ look. It lasts a few hours, is not sticky and is super easy to apply. While I think it’s better suited to lips, with a bit of practice, it is great for cheeks too. Working very quickly, I apply a little product to the back of my hand, then using my middle finger; gently tap the formula onto the apples of my cheeks.

English Dawn White Gardenia Shower Gel R110 – I really like the smell of this special edition shower gel. The fragrance bouquet is made up of hundreds of fragrant white flowers, while the formula is also enriched with extract of Gardenia. It lathers beautifully and I love how it subtly scents my whole home after I’ve used it.

Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream R85 – Excellent value for money! This BB cream is great for troublesome skin prone to blemishes. It contains fair trade organic Tea Tree from Kenya – an excellent anti-bacterial ingredients that also purifies. It’s super easy to apply and the formula is very spreadable. It also gives the complexion a matte look. This product is available in 3 shades: Light, Medium & Dark.

Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet R135 – A fantastic skin quenching formula, this moisturiser has a soft velvety texture and provides the skin with deep hydration. It contains microscopic moisture spheres, known as ‘Aqua Sphere Technology’ that act like tiny reservoirs and hold hundreds of times their weight in water. This technology provides the skin with a 24-hour feed of moisture. The product also contains mineral particles that absorb oil and mattify the skin. I would recommend it to those with dehydrated normal, oily or combination skins.

Special Edition Early Harvest Raspberry Body Scrub R90 – I love a good body scrub and this one ticks all the boxes. Aside from the fact that I love nothing more than dunking my fingers into the delectable, almost jam-like texture of this product – it really does a great job at exfoliating my dry skin. It is made using raspberries harvested early in the season that are brimming with skin boosting antioxidants. I like how soft my skin feels after using it and find the fruity scent to be very invigorating. My 10 year old loves it too.
