I was recently sent a pair of Pure 10 Wolford tights. For those of you not familiar with Wolford, they are the world leader and industry trendsetter when it comes to legwear, hosiery and shapewear.
Again, for this blog post, I managed to persuade my hubby Thoban, (check out his Instagram @ThobanJ) to shoot some pic’s of me wearing the tights. He loathes photographing me, because he wants to do what he wants, and I want to direct him to shoot what I want. This usually ends up in a fight. However, he LOVED every minute of shooting me in these tights…I wonder why?
Because I’m all about investing in quality items that last, I bought a pair of Wolford’s classic black opaque tights when I visited Hamburg about 4 years back. They weren’t cheap, I think I paid about 30 or 40 Euros, but it was money well spent as I still wear them today and they look perfect.
Now, I have to be upfront and admit that when I’m not wearing my opaque tights (which is usually in winter), I’m very much of a bare leg girl. But, when the new Pure 10 sheer tights arrived and I felt the incredible quality, I immediately slipped them on. They’re made using an evolutionary yarn with threads thinner and softer than silk (I kid you not). They feel UNBELIEVABLE on the legs.

If you work in a corporate industry and are a sheer tight wearer, you really should try these. Okay, at R920, they aren’t the cheapest, but I can promise you this, the way the make your legs look and feel is worth every cent. On a side note, I recommend hand washing these tights. Doing so ensures they look great for years.
