I just can’t for the cuteness of this limited edition Lip & Cheeky Doll stain (R130) from The Body Shop (pictured above and available in stores now). I mean, have you ever? Aside from its gorgeous packaging, it really does a sterling job of coating the lips and cheeks in a light wash of colour. It’s super easy to apply, and comes with an applicator that you lightly dab on cheeks or lips.
When it comes to cheek or lips stains you need to be quick with your application, as they tend to dry really quickly. Stains are a great option for the summer months as they’re pretty long-wearing and won’t ‘melt’ off the face. I think this is JUST the product for when you’re going for that barefaced, natural look – but need just the slightest hint of colour on lips and cheeks.
My other obsession is this heavenly smelling Glazed Apple Lip Balm (R60) from The Body Shop – buy it here. One of my favourite smells in the world is that of juicy green apples (yes, I love Be Delicious by DKNY, in case you were wondering) – it’s just so fresh and revitalizing. In fact, if I were to pinpoint the exact smell of this lip balm, I’d liken it to those green fizz pop suckers – it smells exactly like one.
This balm feels lovely on the lips thanks to the (Community fair Trade) beeswax, and comes in the prettiest festive tin. It’s just the product to keep lips looking and smelling sweet. I reckon both these beauties will make wonderful Christmas stocking fillers.
