Okay, so I couldn’t resist using an Afrikaans header for this post. And it’s true; I’m totally in love with the Green Rooibos Natural Body Oil from oh-lief (R130 for 100ml) and am giving one away.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this local brand, oh-lief was founded in 2010 by sisters Christine Buchanan and Louiza Rademan. Back to the Green Rooibos body oil. I was interested to learn that Green Rooibos boasts higher levels of antioxidants than traditional rooibos. It is also over 200 times more efficient than Vitamin E when it comes to protecting your skin and repairing existing damage. Also included in the formula is organic coconut, olive and avocado oils that deeply nourish the skin. I found it was great at quenching my dry skin and like that it also helps minimize the appearance of scars. The subtle, delicate smell of the product comes from Roman Chamomile Flower Oil and works wonder to calm the mind and relieve stress.
You’ll find no harsh chemicals, fragrances, petroleum, parabens, artificial colourants or nut oils in this product, making it safe to use on all skin types.
Spritz it directly onto your body and massage in using a circular motion until the oil is completely absorbed. You can also add a spray to your bath water so your skin can soak up all the organic goodness of Green Rooibos while you sit back and relax.
