The packaging of these collections are always breathtakingly beautiful and the products so incredibly unique and awesome. Last week I was sent five beauties from the Frozen Summer Collection to try and I’m very excited to share them with you.
Just a heads up, this collection is mostly sold out online (it sells out REALLY, really quickly – like within 3 days), but some items are still available in stores. So, if you love one of the items and really want it, call or visit your nearest Clarins outlet to check if they have stock.

Clarins Bronzing Compact Summer Collection R650 – BUY
It’s the bronzer that I always covert the most from the Clarins Summer Makeup collections because the formula is superb and the packaging just gorgeous.
This one includes 3 bronzing powders in matte shades to guarantee a healthy glow. The formula is enriched with a plant micro-patch that binds water to the surface of the skin, protecting it from dehydration, while the Clarins Anti-Pollution complex shields the skin from the harmful effects of pollution.
4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette Summer Collection in Golden Hour Gradation R650 – BUY
These four buildable bronze shades can create a natural or intense sun-kissed look.
There’s a matte shade as well as a velvet, satin and metallic to you can really play with textures when creating an eye look. I use the matte shade in the crease of the eye for definition, then add some of the metallic gold shade onto the lid to make the look pop. I like that all the shadows are ultra-pigmented and glide on easily. The shadow formula is enriched with bamboo powder that improves the wear.

Fix’ Make-Up Summer Collection R450 – BUY
I LOVE this refreshing, light and hydrating facial mist that sets makeup and maximizes its hold. The formula contains the Clarins Anti-Pollution Complex as well as organic Aloe Vera extract that moisturises and soothes the skin. A delicious scent of vanilla and pear fills the air with the smell of summer when you spritz this onto the skin.

Water Lip Stain R330 (each) – BUY
This is a lip tint with a matte finish for that just ‘sucked a popsicle’ lip look.
This ultra-sensory, long wearing lip tint allows you to customize your colour because the formula is buildable, yet super lightweight on the lips. Like with most lip tints, I enjoy how this one looks natural and has a barely there feel. I also use a small amount of this tint on my cheeks for a pop of colour if I’m in a pinch and don’t have my regular blusher on hand.
SOS Primer Icy R465 – BUY
Because I struggle with some redness on my skin and décolletage, I’m a big fan of green primers as they diminish red tones and even out the complexion. I like the fresh feeling of this one that contains a Lumitech complex to correct, even and illuminate in an instant. SOS Primer is enriched with organic sea lily to deliver 24-hour hydration to the skin, while the Clarins Anti-Pollution Complex protects it from environmental damage. As with all primers, this one also creates a great base for makeup and ensures its longevity.
