Jimmy Choo L’Eau EDT is the newest offering from the Jimmy Choo fragrance line. In essence, it’s meant to be an expression of the dynamic, alluring and adventurous Jimmy Choo woman. The press release describes the scent as being a “sensual evocation” of the Jimmy Choo woman with pure and subtle notes heightened by hibiscus flower.

The Fragrance

The scent is a symphony of floral, fresh and musky notes and falls into the fruity floral fragrance category. Top notes of hibiscus flower and bergamot blend beautifully with sweet nectarine and floral peony at the heart of the scent. The fruity and floral notes are grounded by the fragrances base notes of heady cedarwood and musk, which give this scent a subtly sexy personality after a few hours on the skin.

“Jimmy Choo L’Eau captures the scent of a delicious thirst-quenching hibiscus flower blended with barks, fruits and vibrant woods, to create a radiant feminine sensuality.” Juliette Karagueuzoglou, Perfumer.

The flacon is exquisite and takes it’s inspiration from Venetian Murano glass and is reminiscent of a glass cocoon. The elegant bottle is topped with a pale pink 3D cube with metallic gilded edges, adding a touch of modernity to the luxurious design.

I think this scent is fresh, youthful and very wearable. It would work for both day or evening, making it an all rounder and a good option if you’re seeking out a new spring fragrance.
