I do like Valentino fragrances and find most work really well with my skin’s unique chemistry. I was excited to try Voce Viva – a scent that draws a parallel between the sound of one’s voice and the scent of a fragrance. In fact, this scent is about celebrating every women’s voice.
And who better to front this fragrance campaign than the one and only Lady Gaga. With her dynamic singing voice and outspoken and inspired attitude, she really does encompass this beautiful scent.
Voce Viva is a sophisticated scent with notes of Italian Bergamot and orange blossom blended to perfection with a crystal moss accord.
It opens with sparkling citrus notes of Italian Bergamot, softened by sweet and juicy mandarin. The floral heart notes of orange blossom and golden gardenia give the scent a very opulent, heady personality. The dry down with its notes of moss and sandalwood bring an unexpected and very modern edge to this scent that is beautifully enhanced with an enveloping vanilla infusion.
Longevity wise, this scent lasted on my skin for 3-4 hours.
I also love the stylish glass bottle the juice comes in, which was inspired by a couture silhouette. The square shaped, transparent bottle has notched sides that refract the light passing through the golden hued juice of the scent so that a V emerges. The iconic emblematic Valentino rockstud adorns the cap and collar.
