Looking for a hypnotic, sensual and truly seductive scent for Valentine’s Day? May I suggest you consider Agent Provocateur EDP (R995 for a 50ml). This super sexy, almost predatory classic has been around for many years, yet the juice remains contemporary. I first tried it back in 2005 and have been a fan since.
There is a great balance of notes contained in this scent that manage to be both elegant and provocatively sexy at the same time, much like the Agent Provocateur brand itself.
The top notes of spicy saffron are evident, but when combined with the dense and voluptuous floral notes of Egyptian rose, French magnolia and gardenia, this scent takes on a very sensual nature. The addition of sultry musk in the base notes gives the juice a moody and darkly sexy character.
This is a heady, rich and, dare I say, slightly torrid fragrance that will suit a self assured, confident woman who is comfortable with her sexuality. It has serious longevity (8hrs +) and comes in a really beautiful pale pink, egg shaped flacon that almost reminds me (cough) of a fleshy breast. It’s so pretty though, and has a real vintage vibe. It’s the kind of scent I could image on Dita Von Teese’s dressing table.
If you’re after a fragrance just as sexy as the original, but a little less provocative and a touch lighter, then try the Agent Provocateur Fatale Pink (R995 for a 50ml). This is an alluring and fruity scent – great for day or evening and bursting with freshness. Top notes of tangerine, pear and Yuzo (a tropical asian fruit) give it a sparkling vibe, while heart notes of camellia and watery Asian pink lotus lend a graceful dimension to the juice. Just like the original, there’s sexy musk in the base notes, but it’s peppered with black saffron and bamboo that give sit a fresh and sexy, rather unique edge.
