I’m absolutely smitten with the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cucumber and Sunflowers Morning Gardens limited edition scents. So smitten, I’ve been wearing one or the other EVERY day since I received them 3 weeks ago.
I love radiant and refreshing scents – one’s that aren’t too sweet or fruity. Add some citrus and lush green notes, and I’m hooked.
The Green Tea Cucumber is my favourite, favourite (out of the two). I LOVE the original Green Tea and like that this limited edition version still smells very much like the original, except that it’s be updated with the refreshingly clean scent of cucumber.
Green Tea Cucumber has been designed to evoke the feeling of stepping outside on a radiant summer morning. It opens with dazzling notes of citrus and a wet cucumber accord. The middle notes are watermelon and French violet leaves and the base amber and skin musks.
Best of all, a 100ml EDT retails for R365
Imagine waking up with the morning light dancing around you, before opening your window to the breathtaking sight and smells of a radiant field of flowers in bloom…
That is the image a spritz of the new Sunflowers Morning Gardens is said to evoke.
I must admit, I’ve always liked the original Sunflowers, and wore it often when I was growing up. I like this version even more than the original, as it’s been updated with zesty citrus notes that just feel so right for summer.
The sparkling and effervescent top notes include Italian Bergamot, grapefruit, neroli blossom and nectarine. The middle notes contain Rose oil, Jasmine, yellow peony, sunflower and honeysuckle extract. The base is warm and woody with notes of cedarwood, golden amber and radiant musk.
This superb scent retails for R345 for a 100ml EDT. Brilliant value for such a fantastic fragrance.
Both the Sunflowers Morning Gardens and the Green Tea Cucumber are limited edition scents, so make sure you give them a whiff before they sell out.
