Let me tell you, I’m totally blown away by this affordable beauty. I received it a while back, but didn’t give it much thought until I read a rave review on For The Beauty Of It. I know Chereen sometimes battles with her skin, and is super careful about which products she uses – so when she gives a product a thumbs up, you just know it’s going to be a goody. I immediately fished it out of my (ridiculously, overwhelmingly, packed) beauty cupboard and put in in my bathroom cabinet, ready for use.
The Dirty Works brand definitely has a bit of a cult beauty status thanks to its super cute, slightly retro packaging and high quality ingredients. To be honest, this is the first product I’ve tried (but I foresee many more Dirty Works products in my future).
The 8-in-1 Miracle Cream is a daily moisturiser, but can be used both day and night. It has a lovely, almost balm-like texture and comforting fragrance. Even though the texture is rich, it absorbs really quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy film on the skin. I find it’s great at hydrating skin and improving its texture. Bonus points for the fact that it’s in a real glass jar too – just remember not to dunk dirty fingers into the jar! Use a spatula or earbud instead, it’s more hygienic.
I actually started using this moisturiser the day after I had a bit of a reaction to another product (I think it had gone off). I noticed small bumps under my skin, and when I touched them, the area became a bit red and inflamed. I was amazed at how this beauty soothed my irritated skin – making me think it’s most likely suitable for those with slightly sensitive skin too.
In addition to hydrating, the 8-in-1 Miracle Cream also evens skin tone, diminishes fine lines and wrinkles and stimulates collagen production.
I think it’s a brilliant, affordable option for women about 28 +, concerned with ageing and on a budget. Ladies, try this, I guarantee you’ll love it.
