As most of my readers know, I adore TOPSHOP. I love that their clothing always has a fun and fresh element, while remaining fashionable and wearable.
I was asked to pop into store and choose a look that I like (I know, lucky gal!) and decided on this black & white check shirt and grey boyfriend jeans ensemble. While I generally avoid the ripped look on clothing, I think it works really well with these jeans. Also, these knee rips make for real ease of movement (which I discovered yesterday, while on a shoot trying to hem a skirt on a model). What I like about this shirt is that it’s so adaptable. It would also work well paired with a black leather pencil skirt and heels and I could even wear it in summer over my bikini. It’s just one of those items that I know I’ll wear again and again.
