Wow..There are so many. The gift of independence…His motto was to do it yourself so you know you will do it properly. His famous line “do it now, then you know it’s done”, is one myself and all of my siblings use today! I was brought up like the 4th son in our family… spoilt with love and not material possessions , that is why I learnt to appreciate everything in life today. My dad came from India to South Africa at the age of 5 with nothing, and made a huge success of his life putting his two brothers through medical school and sacrificing his dream of becoming an engineer. He taught me to persevere even when I want to give up and nothing if life is more important than doing the right Thing. ..miss him everyday but especially on fathers day.
Congratulations Asha! While I know you can’t spoil your dad with this hamper, I’m sure your hubby will be pleased with the spoil.
