A red polka dot dress is anything but basic—it’s a wardrobe essential with endless styling possibilities. Take, for instance, this Long-Sleeve Breslin Dress from Levi’s. I saw an ad for it pop up on my Instagram feed and, upon first sight, knew I had to have it.
Domaine Du Carla
I took it with me on my recent press trip to France with Avène and wore it for our final dinner at Domaine Du Carla, a stunning château built in 1875 where we were lucky enough to spend a night.
The Breslin Dress is a perfect blend of classic charm and modern flair. With its flattering V-neckline, button-up front, long sleeves, and midi silhouette, it’s a versatile staple that can easily transition from day to night, work to weekend, or casual to dressy.
Cut with an A-line shape that cinches at the waist, creating a feminine silhouette that flatters all body types, it was a must-have for France. The button-up front adds a touch of sophistication and gives you the option to adjust the fit or add a playful twist by leaving a button undone. The long sleeves make it a year-round piece—perfect for layering in cooler months or wearing as-is when the weather warms up.
One of the standout features of the dress is its midi length. Not too short, not too long, this cut is universally flattering and versatile enough to wear with heels, boots, or sneakers, depending on the occasion. Whether you’re dressing up for a dinner date or keeping it casual for brunch with friends, the red polka dots add a fun, retro-inspired element that keeps the look fresh and exciting.
Pair the Breslin Dress with a leather jacket and black ankle boots for an edgier vibe, or with a cardigan for a more polished, elegant look. The possibilities are endless, making this dress a true closet hero that will see you through all seasons and occasions with style.
While I can’t seem to find this dress online locally (it’s available internationally), it may still be available in store. However, I’m pretty sure, given that’s it’s a winter style, it will resurface locally again when we go into autumn. If it does, and you see it, don’t hesitate – it’s worth the investment.
