Dewdrop Skincare is a local brand that’s been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair and Glamour UK, yet so few South African’s know it!
Dewdrop was founded 4 years ago by Rish Reddy. With her background in chemical engineering, she decided to formulate her own skincare to heal her eczema. All the products fuse Ayurvedic skincare with modern science.
The Dewdrop Day & Night Rejuvenating Moisturiser R299 BUY is my current favourite moisturiser. It’s balmy texture intensely hydrates yet leaves the skin with an almost matte finish. It’s made using a powerful blend of Ayurvedic ingredients including Bakuchiol (a natural alternative to Retinol, suitable for sensitive skin) & ashwagandha to target hyperpigmentation, signs of ageing & acne. Hyaluronic acid boosts moisture levels in the skin, Niacinamide soothes and triphala deeply hydrates.
All Dewdrop products are fragrance free, 100% natural, 100% Vegan, GMO free and orders are shipped in compostable Mulch Mailers.

I simply adore the Down To Earth All Over Body Lotion. It can be used on the face and body, is really nourishing without being greasy, and is made with aloe ferox, honeybush, calendula and macadamia oils.
Not only does this formula nourish the skin, leaving it soft and hydrated, it also helps support the microbiome with prebiotics. It’s great for sensitive skin and helps reduce skin reactivity, improves texture and is so gentle, even babies (3 months+) can use it.
