So much fun was had at the “Revlon Iconic” celebration held in honour of iconic women who live boldly.

This exclusive event was held at Rooftop on Bree in Cape Town. The weather held out and it was the perfect evening for a celebration of this magnitude.

The attendees included esteemed media personalities and influencers and was highlighted by the unveiling od a captivating digital CGI (computer generated imagery) campaign.

Revlon was founded in 1932 and for nearly a century, the brand has celebrated the uniqueness and power of women.

“The human story behind Revlon liberates and pays homage to the fearless in all of us—the independent, the joyful, the free, the unstoppable. It celebrates all the unapologetic facets of who we are that make us fearless in every way. This campaign speaks to our core loyalists who fearlessly lived through the 70s, 80s, and 90s, while actively recruiting younger consumers who are redefining fearlessness on their own terms.” said Heather Goate, Marketing Director Revlon South Africa.

The dress code was red, black or white cocktail wear.

I opted for a red dress by H&M and paired it with my trusty gold boots from Country Road.

All the makeup I wore for the evening was by Revlon.

I’ve always loved Revlon makeup because their products have excellent formulas, yet don’t cost the earth. Their foundations, in particular, are BRILLIANT!

Foundation: Revlon Colorstay Longwear Makeup Normal/Dry skin in shade 006

Cheeks: Powder Blush in Very Berry 033

Eyes: Colorstay Original Looks Book Palette in 900; Colorstay Xtensionnaire Waterproof Mascara

Lips: Super Lustrous Shine in Rum Raisin 008

Thanks for the invite Revlon, I had so much fun celebrating all the incredible women that make up our South African beauty community.

Cheers!
