If I were to choose just one scent to wear for the rest of my life, it would surely have to be the inimitable Magnolia Infinita by Acqua Di Parma.
I received a bottle last year and haven’t worn another scent since.
I can hardly believe that it was last year November when I was invited to experience the launch of Magnolia Infinita. I visited the incredible Acqua Di Parma space at Woolworths in the V&A Waterfront and what an experience it was!
With a glass of bubbly in hand, I was taken through the fragrance notes and given a brief history of the brand (read more HERE).
Once you have selected an Acqua Di Parma fragrance, it’s packaged for you so beautifully in the brands signature bag, finished off with tissue paper scented with an Acqua Di Parma fragrance.
Magnolia Infinita
The essence of Acqua Di Parma Magnolia Infinita captures my two favourite scents; white florals and citrus and weaves them together in a beautiful and elegant way. Magnolia Infinita is classified as a floral citrus scent.
The top notes of Calabrian Bergamot, orange and lemon are bold, bright and so refreshing. As the scent develops, the intense and voluptuous heart notes of captivating Jasmine Sambac, Magnolia, Rose and Ylang-Ylang come to the fore. Finally, sensual notes of musk and patchouli linger on the skin, giving this magnificent scent great longevity.
Magnolia Infinita comes in the brands iconic transparent bottle adorned with a luxurious black label that bears gold inscriptions.
As with all luxury, this scent comes with a hefty price tag of R4200 for a 100ml
However, if you take into consideration the quality of ingredients used in the juice (just one spray will scent your skin for around 8 hours), the beautiful bottle and packaging, and the memorable purchasing experience, it’s worth the price.
