Here are my key winter items from the DESRAY Winter/23 collection that are currently available in-store & online.
This season I’m drawn to navy and have invested in two knits that are on high rotation in my wardrobe. When it comes to denims, THE style of the season is a 70’s inspired flare leg. I’ve been wearing mine almost on the daily. Lastly, investing in pair of sneakers will inject some cool, urban style into your look.
Striped top R1,050 (BUY)
A wardrobe classic. I invest in a classic blue & white striped top just about every season. While you can’t see much of the actual design because of the pullover I’m wearing over it, I’ll do my best to explain. The style is loose, almost A-Line and has a round neck with a v detail. There are also side slits and delicate gauging just below the front and back shoulder area. You can see the top properly HERE.
Navy Star Sneakers R2,000 (BUY)
Athleisure meets urban style with these super cool sneakers. Details include a navy nylon and suede upper that’s accentuated with a mustard suede star and a silver laminated leather steel tab. The cream toweling lining and laces with red lace loops add a finishing touch. I also love the distressed rubber sole that gives these sneakers a vintage-ish appeal. In addition, these sneakers have a built-up sole for that extra bit of height. I wear these with everything from maxi dress to denims.
Dark Blue Flare Leg R1,200 (BUY)
I showcased these in my previous Desray look post HERE and I have to admit, I just can’t get enough of them. Aside from being ultra-fashionable with their flare leg and mid to high-rise waist; I love how comfy they are thanks to the addition of spandex in the denim fabric. Dress them up with heels, a silk blouse and a biker leather jacket. For a more casual look, pair them with chunky knits, like I do.
Camel Sleeveless Cable Pullover R1,100 (BUY)
Another item I featured in my previous Desray look post is the lovely sleeveless pullover. I adore the camel colour that works with most hues, and I love how soft the wool is. It’s a great piece for layering, and the classic cabling enhances its relaxed vibe. Wear it over dress, shirts and under coats and jackets on cooler days. It’s made using 55% nylon, 30% wool and 15% acrylic.
Navy Cable Pullover R1,400 (BUY)
Navy is such an elegant colour and works with everything. I love the cable knit on this one that’s has a relaxed, boxy shape with a round neck and dropped shoulders.
The style also features wide rib trims on the cuffs. It is made using 55% nylon, 30% wool and 15% acrylic.
Navy Cable Cardi R1,300 (BUY)
I do love a cardigan and this one is a modern take on the original. I love how it features both a cable and fisherman’s rib knit. The bell sleeve and ribbed cuff also make for interesting details. The ribbed hem falls on the hips. Depending on how you style it, you can wear it opened or closed. It works well with casual denim looks and maxi dresses. It’s made using 94% cotton, 3% wool and 3% cashmere.
