When it comes to skincare, there’s nothing I enjoy more than treating my skin to a luxurious mask. We should all be using a mask that addresses our particular skincare concern at least twice a week. There are formulas available for all skin concerns from hydration to purifying to exfoliating and soothing.
If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll know I rate the Sisley Paris masks among the VERY best.

When the brand launched their new Exfoliating Enzyme Mask, I couldn’t wait to try it. And like ALL Sisley products, it doesn’t disappoint.
The Exfoliating Enzyme Mask R2,000 BUY works in just 1 minute to exfoliate and give the skin a radiant glow. It’s super gentle too and can be used on sensitive skin.
The formula contains Papain (from Papaya) – a 100% natural-origin enzyme that gently exfoliates the skin, leaving it smooth and soft while Vitamin B3 works to promote evenness and luminosity. The cleansing powder is of plant origin and uses Wisteria and coconut to cleanse and purify the skin.
I love how the fine powder transforms into a rich foaming cream upon contact with water, allowing for a quick and easy mask application.
To use, simply dispense about a teaspoon full of the powder into the palm of your hand and add a little water. Mix with your fingertips until a foaming cream is formed. Apply a thin layer to the face and neck. You can use your fingers or a brush. Leave on for 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly.
You can then apply your usual skincare, OR, you can follow with the application of another mask suited to your skin’s needs. I use either the Sisley Black Rose, or the Sisley Express Flower Gel.

This luxurious, creamy mask is packed with anti-ageing ingredients which leaves the skin looking youthful and energized. It works to smooth and plump while softening and hydrating the skin. It restores luminosity and density to the skin in just 10 – 15 minutes. The formula contains ingredients that smooth, promote collagen synthesis, protect against free radicals, revitalize and promote radiance.
To use, you apply a thick layer onto the skin, leave for 10-15 minutes then remove any excess with a cotton pad. There is no need to rinse.

When I use it, I don’t even remove the excess as my skin drinks the formula up. This is the absolute best skincare treat to use when you fly long distance, or when your skin is parched after a flight.
The Sisley Express Flower Gel R2,300 BUY is a wonderfully fresh, moisturising and toning cream mask specifically designed for dehydrated, lifeless or tired looking skin. It has an exceptional concentration of moisturising active ingredients like Lily and Iris extracts, while regenerating the skin with Sesame extract. It works to hydrate, tone and remove signs of fatigue and stress from the skin.
You can use the Express Flower Gel two to three times a week, applying it onto clean, dry skin – including the eye contour. Leave the formula on for 3 minutes, then wipe any excess (if you even need to). There is no need to rinse. I use this formula to revive my skin before an evening out or a big event.
I used the Express Flower Gel the morning this was taken. Yes, I do have light makeup on (a tinted moisturiser, cream blush, some mascara & lipstick), but notice how toned & plump (thanks to the hydration) my skin looks.
