It’s not often I post about beauty launches on my blog, but yesterday’s Elizabeth Arden White Tea Eau De Parfum event was too spectacular not to share with you.
After an early flight to JHB at 7:20am, we arrived at Inimitable in Muldersdrift – a truly spectacular venue for a beauty launch.
The most perfect day for a beauty launch
We were here to learn more about the newest fragrance launch by Elizabeth Arden – White Tea Eau de Parfum R1,185 for a 100ml and R785 for a 30ml
White Tea celebrates the pleasure of a life finely crafted. The scent offers a deeper concentration of this beloved, iconic scent. It’s best described as crisp, clean and joyful.
Top notes include Italian Mandarin, a Sea Breeze accord and Clary Sage. As the scent develops, the heart notes of White Tea accord, Mate Absolute, up-cycled Rose Water and Jasmine Petals burst forth. The dry down is magnificent and long lasting as ethically sourced Tonka Bean Absolute, a trio of Musk’s and Amberwood leave a lasting and elegant trail.
The dress code for the event was white, gold or sunset couture. I headed off to my favourite local designer, DESRAY because I’d see the most PERFECT dress from them that perfectly encapsulated ‘sunset couture”
This dress is called the ‘Bright Orange Frill Dress’
It’s currently on SALE for R925 HERE
Because I was unsure of the weather – my app said 23 degrees, but one never knows – I decided it best to take a coat along (also, airplanes can be cold!). I wore this cream ‘Sunset’ coat from the new, winter MH Clothing line. It’ made with luxurious melton and the sunset motif is hand stitched as well as the details on the sleeve cuffs.
I was lucky enough to be the first person to wear this magnificent coat (R2,000 – contact Debra on Instagram HERE for orders)
As with all beauty launches, the bubbly was flowing. Cheers!
A highlight was the ‘Sound Bath’ Experience.
This meditative treat (especially after an early morning flight) encouraged us to immerse ourselves in the resonant sounds of singing bowls, which created an echoing sound that ‘bathes’ us. A very healing and relaxing practice indeed.
It was then time for lunch and an overview of the new White Tea Eau de Parfum scent
How beautiful is this table setting?
I opted for the salmon which was delish!
The lovely and always stylish Ana Roque, training manager for Elizabeth Arden South Africa. Ana explained how the new White Tea Eau de Parfum scent is rather unique in that it was created using VivaScentz technology, which offers a sensory innovation that awakens a deeper sense of well-being.
Smelling the new White Tea Eau de Parfum, which I LOVE!
There were dessert trays to choose from & I opted for a sugar cone filled with subtly flavoured cream
