I’ve been using the new Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lift and Firm Creams now for about 3 weeks and am so excited to tell you about them.
But first, it’s important to know what Ceramides are, and understand how they work.
Ceramides are fats or lipids that are naturally found in skin cells. They make up 30% to 40% of your outer skin layer, or epidermis. Ceramides are important for retaining your skin’s moisture. Unfortunately, as we age, natural levels of Ceramides decline, which can leave the skin dry. When skincare containing Ceramides is applied topically, they work to help increase skin hydration and promote optimal barrier function.
The key ingredient in the newly launched Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm creams (there’s a day & night formula) and the eye cream are Ceramides that replenish and restore the skin. The formulas also contain Elizabeth Arden’s Age Defying 3D FIT Triple Active System that firms, intensely hydrates and tightens skin.
I just adore the fast absorbing gel texture of these creams that have 5x the Ceramides that the previous formulas contained. They work to replenish the skin while intensely hydrating, firming and tightening features. I also like that a portion of the glass jar and caps are made from recycled materials.

Apply Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream SPF 15 R1020 (BUY) onto clean skin.
Apply Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Eye cream R730 (BUY)
Prep my skin with the Flawless Start Hydrating Serum Primer R505 (BUY) formulated with hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin and prep it for foundation application.
Apply Flawless Finish Skincaring Foundation R620 (BUY). It also contains contains Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C&E and works to hydrate and comfort the skin. It’s buildable, lightweight, leaves skin with a dewy look (while controlling shine) and doesn’t settle into fine lines. It’s my current favourite.
Cover dark circles with the Flawless Finish Skincaring Concealer / Corrector R395 (BUY) I am LOVING this concealer. It has the most sublime texture, contains the same ingredients as the foundation and brings a wonderful lightness to the under-eye area. I do set it with a bit of loose powder. My Evening Skincare Routine
Apply one capsule of the Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules R725 (BUY) to my skin to boost moisture reserves and plump my skin. Hyaluronic acid draws in moisture, while the Ceramides lock it in.
Apply the Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Night R1050.00 (BUY)
Finish with a little Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Eye cream R730 (BUY)
