As you know, I’m a big fan of the WOOLWORTHS WBEAUTY range.
Aside from the fact that the formulations are fabulous, I love that the products are Vegan, proudly South African and come in stunning packaging – most of which is recyclable.
I thought I’d show you how I incorporate some of my favourite WBEAUTY products into my daily routine.
Most of us are WFH (working from home), and that means countless Zoom or Skype meetings. While I may be wearing my sheepskin slippers & PJ bottoms, I always try make an effort with my hair & face. At the very least, I apply a touch of eye cream to give the area a moisture boost, thus making any wrinkles a little less noticeable. And I just can’t do without a slick of black mascara on my lashes to open up the eyes & make them look fresh & bright.
WBEAUTY Anti-Ageing Eye Cream R220 – BUY
The formula contains Retinol to boost collagen production & diminish fine lines, as well as Vitamin E to encourage cell regeneration & provide antioxidant properties.
WBEAUTY Ultimate 3-in1 Mascara R195 – BUY
This mascara does it all: great volume & maximum length. It also gives the lashes a beautiful curl.
When I do pop out the house to run an errand, I like to make a bit of an effort. Even if I don’t wear any makeup, I make sure I spritz on a little fragrance because when I smell great, I feel good. In winter, I prefer an oriental or wood scent over a floral or fruity one as I like the depth & warmth these scents have.
WBEAUTY Reign EDT R199 for a 30ml – BUY
This is a seductive gourmand fragrance with fruity top notes, a floral heart & a warm wood & vanilla base. It is DIVINE and SO well priced.
When I can find a moment to catch my breath, I like to relax by listening to a podcast while treating my skin to a boost of hydration. Honestly, sheet masks have to be my number one beauty item at the moment.
WBEAUTY Hydrating Sheet Mask R55 – BUY
I love this one because it is saturated with hyaluronic acid to intensively moisturize the skin. Let it work its magic for 10 minutes, then massage any product left on the face into the skin. Tip: If there is any leftover serum in the pack, apply that to the back of the hands – an area we so often forget about!
In the evening, I like to take at least half an hour to pamper my skin. After removing any make, I’ll cleanse my skin while I’m in the shower. I then give it a spritz with a Face mist, followed by a treatment. Currently I’m LOVING oils and feel my skin responds really well to them in winter. I finish off my evening routine by applying a rich moisturiser.
WBEAUTY Hydrating Face Mist R210 – BUY
This mist is great for dry, dehydrated skin types as it boosts hydration levels. Spritz it onto the face (but take care to avoid the eyes) before you apply your moisturiser or serum. I also find this works nicely midday when your skin needs a refresher.
WBEAUTY Evening Recovery Oil R250 – BUY
Oh, my word I LOVE this oil! It’s lightweight, non-greasy and works to restore & regenerate the skin. It’s very delicately fragranced, but the smell disappears straight after application. It penetrates the skin within seconds leaving it feeling beautifully hydrated. This beauty can also be used as a night cream substitute.
WBEAUTY Replenish Anti-Ageing Night Cream R280 – BUY
Rich, luxurious, comforting and loaded with a Vitamin Complex and hyaluronic acid to boost hydration levels. What more could one ask for in a moisturiser?
