Tip: The best time to shop for clothing is on the end of season sales. Aside from the saving, you’re forced out of your style comfort zone and are more likely to try a new style, because of the marked down in price.
Olive Ruffle Fan Long Sleeve Top – Was R1050 Now R735 – BUY
The floral print & Victorian inspired ruffles on this top make for a beautiful combination. It has a round neck with a single button back, small, built-in fabric shoulder pads & raw edged ruffles on the shoulders. The cuff is also adorned with ruffles, and the floral olive & purple print give this top a romantic, yet very contemporary spin. Wear this top with jeans, or a denim skirt, or white trousers, or even chinos – really, the possibilities of how you can style it are endless.
Cream Cross Over Top – Was R900 Now R630 – BUY
I just adore this cream coloured cross over top that made from the softest fabric, ensuring it drapes beautifully.
It has a small front fastening stitch to prevent the front from opening, and also helps create a luxurious drape. The dropped, long sleeves are finished off with a beautiful pleated cuff and there’s a pleat on the back. Because of its neckline, this top makes the most perfect backdrop for your favourite necklaces. You can style it in a multitude of ways, with denim jeans for a more casual look, with black trousers and heels for an elegant evening look, or with a black skirt for a more corporate, but still fashionable vibe.
Rust Long Sleeve Dress – Was R1300 Now R650 – Only available in-stores
Now, I love a red dress, so this Rust long Sleeve Dress with its bold print caught my eye. It features box pleats in the waist that give it shape, pockets, that lend an edgy appeal and a very high neckline (great for hiding a sun damaged décolletage!). I wear mine with black opaque stockings and brogues and sometimes add a denim jacket for warmth.
While I realize it’s perhaps not a style that will suit every body shape (that’s why it’s a limited edition), for mine (tall with small boobs), it’s a winner. It’s only available in stores, not online.
In the above picture, I’ve teamed the dress with the Mustard Long Winter Coat (Was R2 200 – Now R1 540) – BUY becauseI just love how the contrast of the mustard yellow with the red. This classic style of coat keeps its shape when worn open, & slightly hugs the waist when closed. The long sleeves are finished with tortoise shell buttons at the cuff & the slim silhouette creates a very chic vibe. It also features tortoise shell buttons down the front, a tailored lapel & 2 large pockets at the waist. This coat is finished off beautifully with contrasting lining.

I really think a pair of beautifully made leather brogues are a must-have in any wardrobe because they are the perfect, classic, shoe style that maintains a balance between comfort and style. These are made using the softest, buttery leather and feature a leather upper & inner, a slightly elevated heel & sole and a tapered toe. This style of shoe works with almost any look from trousers to dresses and skirt. This style is available in black & brown leather.
Gold Hoop Earrings with Green Beads Was R240 – Now R190 (only available in-store)
I love a hoop style earring and these medium sized gold hoops with their green disc bead detail are just gorgeous. Wear them to offset a plain white shirt, or with an all-black look to add a little pop of colour.
Leopard Print Scarf – Was R450 Now R360 – BUY
Two thing I love: leopard print & an oversized scarf. These come together beautifully in this red border leopard print scarf that will add an eye-catching element to any look. It’s made using 50% Rayon & 50% Viscose and should be washed in cold water.
