Looking for a reasonably priced skincare range that will leave you with radiant, beautifully cared for skin? Look no further than the Sorbet Skin range.
I was recently sent a few products to try from the Sorbet Skin range, which is dermatologically approved and great to use on all skin types – even sensitive. Now, you guys know I’m a big fan of Sorbet’s makeup line, but I hadn’t tried any of the skincare products (aside from the Micellar water, which I enjoyed) so I couldn’t wait to get started.
I had just finished my previous cleansing balm, so I was thrilled to see one included in the press drop. The Sorbet Salon Skin Specialist Care Cleansing Balm (R199) BUY uses Safflower oil, Aloe Vera and vitamin E to gently cleanse the skin of dirt and makeup. You simply massage the formula onto dry skin, then emulsify it using a little water. It removed all my make-up (even waterproof mascara) perfectly and didn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry. If you wear a fair amount of make-up every day, I strongly suggest you invest in a cleansing balm as it is the easiest way to clean the skin.
When I first used the Sorbet Salon Skin Specialist Care Barrier Repair Cream 50ml (R199) BUY I was struck by how its texture resembled that of a primer in both look and feel. When I read up on how to use it, I saw it’s to be used exactly how one would a primer. You apply a small amount of product after cleansing onto cheeks, forehead, nose & chin.
The formula works to protect and reinforce the skin’s barrier and contains Bisabalol, oat and boerhavia extracts that helps soothe inflammation. It’s best suited to reactive, sensitive skin types.
Both hubby & I have been trying the Sorbet Salon Skin Specialist Care Rapid Spot Rescue 30ml (R159) BUY that fights breakouts and redness with salicylic acid, arnica and liquorice extracts. It helps unclog pores and cleans them out, preventing blemishes. You simply apply some product directly onto spots as they appear, repeating application until the spot is gone. I also like that this spot gel can be applied over makeup!
My favourite product in the range has to be the Sorbet Hydro Skin Aqua Night Gel Recovery Sleep Mask (R220) BUY designed for dehydrated skin types. Essentially it’s a night cream that’s formulated with plant actives to keep your skin hydrated, ensuring you wake up with beautiful nourished skin come morning. The product has a super light, gel-like texture and comforting, subtle smell. The formula contains saccharide isomerate, lentil seed extract, seaweed powder and edelweiss.
The Sorbet Hydro Skin Aqua Day Gel 50ml (R220) BUY delivers intense hydration and protects skin from environmental pollutants and stressors. It contains a combination of shea butter and plant actives and while it has a super light texture, does a great job of boosting hydration. Such a hit was this is my household that hubby tried it once and claimed it as his own.
