I’ve been putting the Sisley Phyto Lip Delight (R690) to test and I’m totally smitten. Now, I know that R690 is a heck of a LOT of money to spend on a lip product, giving the soaring costs of just living in South Africa. But, let me explain why I think it’s worth the splurge:
More than just regular lip product
The Sisley Phyto Lip Delight is essentially a hybrid between skincare & makeup that cares for and brightens the lips.
The formula is rich in active ingredients like Padina Pavonica to plump & moisturise; shea oil to soothe, repair & nourish; Jojoba Oil to soften; Plum Oil to soothe & provide comfort and Vitamin E to act as an antioxidant.
The product also contains an anti-hydration protective film that keeps moisture locked into the lips.
I like the texture of this non-sticky, gel-balm that glides onto lips and instantly envelopig them in softness. The applicator is designed to apply just the right amount of product, while gently massaging the lips.
Three variants are available that add a touch of delicate colour to the lips:
#Cool – a nude beige that gives the lips a natural glossy look (the one I have and am wearing in the pics below)
#Pretty – a soft baby pink, perfect for day
#Sweet – a delicate coral that gives lips a fresh and vibrant appeal.

Why I love it:
It doesn’t dry the lips out (I’m amazed at how many lip balms do – and will be doing a post on this in the near future!)

There is no taste, just a very subtle scent that wears off after a minute or two
